How credits work
- What does a scan cost?
- 1 credit per 1,000 words, with a 5-credit minimum. A 5,000-word paper costs 5 credits; a 20,000-word chapter costs 20. You see the exact cost before every scan.
- Do credits roll over?
- No. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over — your allowance renews in full at the start of each month.
- Is coaching chat metered?
- No. Coaching chat costs 0 credits on every plan, subject to a daily fair-use cap.
- What do specialized frameworks cost?
- Generating a specialized coaching framework costs 50 credits (Pro and Institutional); recalibrating one after edits costs 15. If generation fails our quality gate, the credits are refunded automatically.
